Camping is the rock on which Scouting was founded 100 years ago. Troop 152 offers each year a diverse program of weekend camp outs, at least one a month but more often 12 between September and June. To encourage Scouts to attend as many camps as possible a competition is run each year for the Scout with the most nights camped. The award each year at the final Court of Awards is always camping related and for the last few years has been a gift certificate for Eastern Mountain Sports.

In addition to these weekend camp outs through the year, Troop 152 attends a week long camp at a wilderness camp run by the local Scout Council, Hiawatha Seaway Council, Camp Sabattis. Located in the center of the Adirondack National Park, Camp Sabattis provides an ideal location to earn those outdoors merit badges, try out new outdoors activities, canoeing, mountain biking, pioneering etc. For current details click Sabattis
